Ray Bradford '07
Ray Bradford joined one of Silcon Valley’s most prominent venture capital firms, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in November 2011. Ray graduated from Westminster in 2007 with degrees in economics and finance. He went on to earn an MBA from Stanford University. During that time he completed internships for several tech companies like, Infopia, Second Life, and Twitter. After graduating he took a position with Amazon.com. Ray says the multidisciplinary education Westminster gave him was a good foundation for both graduate school and his career. Ray says the critical thinking skills he learned at Westminster helped him shine in his role at Amazon where he was responsible for making good, data-based decisions and manage multi-faceted projects. Ray also credits the leadership and teamwork opportunities he had at Westminster for helping him stand out, “Through student government I learned how to work in a group, set clear goals, and get people motivated to help the organization.” he said. “I learned about trust, good communication, and working with a team to solve a problem."
