Mike Lewis '09
Mike Lewis finished his MBA at Westminster in 2009 and is now the advisor of sustainable development for Rio Tinto’s Kennecott Utah Copper Mine. In this role, Mike works with internal and external stakeholders to further Kennecott’s commitment to social well-being, environmental stewardship, economic prosperity and strong corporate governance. His work emphasizes the importance he places on social responsibility and ethical awareness as he attempts to urge Kennecott toward sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. As chair of the product stewardship team at Kennecott, Mike participates in a variety of supply chain initiatives. Mike has also led sustainability initiatives in the ski industry, as a private consultant. Mike is also an adjunct MBA professor at Westminster College. His work allows him to be a community leader and a personal mentor for students and peers, guiding them toward the same success and values that Westminster allowed him to gain.
