Tiana grew up exploring the woods and rivers in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri and studied Geology at Hamilton College in upstate New York, where outdoor education became a significant part of her life. She earned her Master’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with an emphasis in Experiential Education from the University of Utah. Tiana has directed outdoor programs at both Missouri State University and Realms of Inquiry School in Salt Lake City. Tiana has her Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician certification and works as an instructor for the Wilderness Medicine Training Center and the National Outdoor Leadership School. Tiana has a passion for both microadventures and long expeditions alike and was instrumental in bringing Packrafting to Westminster's Outdoor Program. Working with the Westminster Outdoor Program and the students involved has been one of the most meaningful positions yet and she looks forward to seeing where the program will go! Her professional and personal adventures have taken her all over the US from Maine to Washington and internationally to India, Canada, Mexico, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Costa Rica, and China.
