Donna McAleer, Consultant and Author -- March 5; 8:00pm:

Graduate of West Point, award-winning writer, and frequent contributor to the Huffington Post, Time, and Foreign Policy, Democratic candidate for Utah’s first Congressional District, appointee to the Defense Advisory Council on Women in the Service, bobsled driver, high school coach, and ski instructor, Donna’s multifaceted career prepared her well for a series of leadership positions. Her expertise has benefited the uninsured, educated children in Cambodia, and supplied local organizations with the strategic guidance needed to help them thrive. 


Nate Holzapfel, Mission Belt-- March 12; 6:30pm:

Utah native and entrepreneur Nate Holzapfel has been a man of ideas for most of his life. His experience moving and traveling around the world has taught him how to effectively communicate with people helped him become a successful salesman. Founder of Mission Belt Co., Nate negotiated his way into the spotlight by earning a spot on ABC’s hit show, Shark Tank, where he successfully made a deal with fashion brand icon Daymond John. Since his landmark deal, Nate has presented across the globe as a motivational speaker, salesman and investor. In addition to running his multi-billion dollar company, Nate also founded The Nate State of Mind consulting group.


Dallas Robinson, KISSTIXX -- March 12; 8:00pm:

Dallas Robinson got the idea for a lip balm that he called KISSTIXX while in high school. While in college, he had built revenues of more than $1 million in two years. KISSTIXX was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, where Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, invested in his concept. Robinson strongly believes, “You can’t create something amazing by doing what others are already doing.” Forbes selected him as one of their All Star Student Entrepreneurs for 2012.


Mary Michelle Scott, Fishbowl -- March 19; 6:30pm:

Mary Michelle Scott, President of Fishbowl, has helped several of Utah's most prominent high-tech firms progress from incubation to national and global leadership status. She played a key role in Fishbowl's successful company buyback during 2011, a year in which Fishbowl also experienced an overall growth rate of 70 percent. Mary is a frequent speaker and writer on business leadership and human resource topics. She recently became a contributing columnist for Harvard Business Review.



Dave Williams, Fishbowl -- March 19; 6:30pm:

David Williams serves as CEO of Fishbowl, the leading provider of inventory management software for small- to medium-sized businesses and asset-tracking solutions for larger enterprises. The company is one of Intuit's original Gold Development partners. Fishbowl grew 70 percent in 2011, the same year it achieved a 100 percent company buyback with partner Mary Michelle Scott, President of Fishbowl.



Carine Clark, Allegiance  -- March 19; 8:00pm:

Carine Clark’s 25 years of experience building successful software companies was recognized by ExecRank, which named her #47 of all CMO’s worldwide in 2012. She also received the Women Tech Leadership Excellence Award, the 25th TWIN award, and the Silicon Slopes v100 Award. As former SVP and CMO for Symantec, she was responsible for global campaign and field marketing, as well as public and analyst relations. Her leadership helped establish Altiris as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, growing revenues from $62 million to $230 million during a four-year period. 


Adam Edmunds, Allegiance  -- March 19; 8:00pm:

 In 2004, Edmunds founded an ethics reporting company called SilentWhistle, which was acquired by Global Compliance in 2009. He is currently CEO of Allegiance, which helps organizations automate and capitalize on their customer feedback and survey programs. Edmunds has received numerous entrepreneurial awards, including Ernst & Young 2010 Utah Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, both Utah Business magazine’s and Digital IQ’s “40 Under 40” lists, and 2004 BYU Entrepreneur of the Year. He holds a Master of Accounting degree from BYU, and is married with three sons. 



Jay Bean, Orange Soda -- March 26; 6:30pm:

 Jay Bean is the Head of Strategy for Deluxe Small Business Services, where he is responsible for defining the product strategy and aligning the company’s integrated marketing solutions. Prior to joining Deluxe, Jay was the Founder and CEO of OrangeSoda, where he lead the company from start-up to leading provider of digital marketing solutions for SMBs. During that time OrangeSoda was listed in the Inc 500 and became one of the leaders in the local advertising space, with thousands of customers and dozens of key partners. 


Shannon Happe, Silver Bean Coffee Company -- March 26; 8:00pm:

Shannon Bahrke Happe was born and raised in Lake Tahoe, CA and moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1998 to pursue her dreams of making the U.S. Ski Team and ultimately compete for the USA at the Winter Olympic Games.  She made the U.S. Ski Team that very same year and had continued success for the next twelve years.  She competed on 6 World Championship Teams, 3 Olympic Teams, brought home 2 Olympic Medals, 7 World Cup Wins, 1 Overall World Cup Title and 6 National Titles.  In 2008 Shannon and her husband started up Silver Bean Coffee Co.  They now have a company that roasts and distributes fresh roasted coffee nation wide.  They also own & operate 2 coffee shops and are working diligently to make a dent in the Starbucks dynasty!  


Mark Woolley, BuildTec Solutions, LLC -- April 2; 6:30pm:

Mark is the Founder and President of BuildTec Solutions, an education, training, and support services company serving the built environment arena. His extensive career in the built environment includes multiple executive and leadership roles. Mark is a Certified Trainer with the University of Housing–National Association of Home Builders, as well as a fifth-generation homebuilder and has served on the Planning Commission in South Jordan, Utah.





Maxine Turner, Cuisine Unlimited -- April 2; 8:00pm:

Maxine established Cuisine Unlimited Catering & Special Events, an award-winning national and international off-premise catering and special event company, complete with a corporate feeding division, rental, and floral division with sales in excess of $4,000,000. Maxine produced Maxine in the Kitchen, cooking shows that aired nationally on Clear Channel HD Channels. A regular on all the major networks’ cooking shows, she is considered trusted source for food writers on industry trends. With plenty of Olympic Games under her belt, she is gearing up for Rio in 2016.



Bill Perry, Perry Homes -- April 9; 6:30pm:

 William (“Bill”) O. Perry, IV is an owner, member of the Board of Directors and Vice President and General Counsel of Perry Homes, Inc., a Murray, Utah conglomerate of home-building and real-estate companies with operations and developments in Utah, Idaho, and California. During the last decade, Bill and his family have started and invested in seven distinct businesses. Bill received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Brigham Young University in 2000 and teaches at Brigham Young University.




Cheryl Snapp Conner, Snapp Conner PR -- April 9; 8:00pm:

Cheryl Snapp Conner, founder and managing partner of Snapp Conner PR, has more than 23 years of experience in public relations. Her company, Snapp Conner PR is the publisher of the nationally acclaimed PRScorecard.com program, and is the creator and publisher of MyPRToolbox.com. Conner is a popular contributor to the Forbes Entrepreneurs channel. She is recognized as one of Utah’s “30 Women to Watch” and has been named for the past five consecutive years to Utah’s v100 list of emerging entrepreneurs. She is a trustee of the Utah Technology Council (UTC) and has directed the UTC Communications Committee since 2004.



Aaron Ollivier, Safe Sidewalks -- April 16; 6:30pm:

 President/CEO of several Utah based businesses ranging from software to used car dealerships, Aaron Ollivier now owns a total of eight business in Utah. However, he grew his main business, Precision Concrete Cutting, over 5000 percent within 11 years, overseeing 49 Precision Concrete Cutting franchisee's and five corporate-owned stores throughout North America. He is heavily involved in the outdoor recreation industry (he climbed three of the seven summits) and owns a Heli-Ski company in Alaska.



Marion M. Chamberlain, Chamberlain Leadership -- April 16; 6:30pm:

Marion is the founder and CEO of Chamberlain Leadership. A talented speaker, change agent, writer, and trainer, She delivers powerful programs to executives, team leaders, and emerging leaders to cultivate the energy of change. Marion is passionately committed to helping corporate leaders become catalysts for corporate and societal change. She’s also the author of the Kindle eBook The Impactful Leader. Prior to launching Chamberlain Leadership, she served as the Strategic Business Planning and Sustainability Manager for a leading metropolitan transportation authority.

Dr. Michael JD Sutton:



Associate Professor, Dr. Michael JD Sutton, brings a unique perspective his speciality, Knowledge Management, because of a comprehensive career in senior corporate and consulting positions that spanned almost four decades. Within the MBA program, he teaches a wide range of subjects from leadership, strategy, and entrepreneurship to organizational analysis and design, and knowledge mobilization. He previously coached learners in Westminster’s competency-based Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA programs, and he was a team advisor/mentor for the Opportunity Quest Business Plan Competition in the Center for Entrepreneurship.


Linda Muir:

Linda Muir, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship, holds a BS in marketing and an MBA. Her corporate experience included FranklinCovey, Bell & Howell, and Intel and she served as the first director of the Larry H. Miller Business Innovation Center, a business incubator. A founding member of the Women Tech Council, she also worked to support businesses at the state of Utah’s economic development division where she supported Utah start-ups and growth companies. She currently serves on the Utah Business Lending Corporation credit committee and is president of LA Vocal, Inc., a business development company.
