Spent most of the past ten days rodding the Tacoma packed with camping gear, guns, flyrods and Finn on a solo exploration mission throughout Utah. To say the least... It was a success. We caught a bunch of fish (tigers, bows, browns and cuts) shot a stack of photos (and some birds) and saw some country Ill be sure to keep a secret. #flyfishing #hunting #canon #utah

A couple days ago I climbed the Steck Salathé on Sentinel Rock (Grade V 5.10b 16 pitches) and it absolutely 200% kicked my ass. After 20 hours of car to car offwidth thrutching adventure alongside my 60 year old godfather and leading almost every pitch on the route, I love climbing more than ever. It's funny how those things work, isn't it? Life is pretty damn sweet and I'm very psyched for the next adventure!
It's really bittersweet being back in Salt Lake. I so wish that I could be climbing in The Valley on perfect granite walls, but instead I'm sitting here in the library day dreaming and procrastinating a research paper... Just a few more months of academic hoop jumping until I'm free for good! #westminsterslc #westminsteroutdoors
Started stacking old time lapses to mess around with star trails. This one is of @telewright, Sean McCormick and I camping on the shore of the Green River in southern Utah a few weeks back #starporn #getoutside #startrails @nature #westminsterslc #westminsteroutdoors
What did you do over fall break?! This group of theatre students went on an awesome camping trip!! #theatre #westminsterslc #backtoreallife #fallbreak @mandaelizabeth19 @alec_kalled @what_the_cuss_mofo @ceejsterr @hairy.harrison @merrymagee
I had an awesome fall break road tripping from SLC to boulder, to Grand Junction to visit @kiani_vogt and to Moab for some epic desert exploring, biking and partying with the best crew possible. The biggest things I've taken out of this trip are 1) I really need a mountain bike, 2) the desert has so much fun to offer and 3) I've set a new mark for how bad I can smell. @willclausen and I lined this shot up on night 2 of camping at about 9 pm. The moon was almost full but didn't rise until about 11:30, giving us a spectacular view of the milkyway without having to wake up at 1 am. These are the kinds of trips I'll remember forever.
