Westminster/U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA)

Welcome to Westminster College: Home to nearly 100 U.S. Ski, Snowboarding, and Freeskiing Team members. Westminster is the " Official Partner--Traditional College" for USSA through a special tuition grant program. The college offers more than 42 undergraduate and 14 graduate degree programs and is located just minutes away from world-class training facilities, like USSA’s Center of Excellence and the Utah Olympic Park, in Park City, Utah.

Did you know that Westminster had 23 students compete in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi? Our students comprised 10% of Team USA, more than any other college in the country! Westminster also had 14 students compete in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Our USSA student-athletes not only excel on the slopes as World Champions and Olympians, but they also succeed in the classroom – and have an average GPA of 3.5 to prove it! Our amazing faculty work closely with these student-athletes to try to accommodate their rigorous training and competition schedules, and enable them to better balance their challenging course load. This personalized attention--coupled with the college's excellent academic reputation--is what makes Westminster a premier choice for the U.S. Ski, Snowboarding, Freestyle and Freeskiing Team members.
