You will not want to miss Griffin GearUp. This on campus 2 day overnight experience for first year students that includes meeting with an academic advisor, registering for classes, understanding the financial aspect of a Westminster education, exploring leadership development and identity, and getting to know your peers.
1st Year Student Orientation: Aug. 15-18, 2015
First Year Student Orientation is a four-day orientation program that assist new students with their academic, personal, social, and cultural transition into the Westminster and Salt Lake community. This program is geared toward students who have finished high school and are entering their first year of college. This program occurs prior to the start of class. Please note that Residential Move-In will occur on the afternoon of August 14, 2015.
Parent & Family Orientation: Aug. 15, 2015
The Parent and Family Orientation program is a 1 day program that assist parents and families in the adjustment of having a loved one at Westminster. The program supports and provides tools to ease the stress of transition for our students’ parents and families during an emotional time of their kids’ lives.
Transfer Student Orientation: Aug. 18, 2015
The Transfer Student Orientation program is geared to help students who have previously attended another college or university. This 1 day program provides the foundation of what it means to be a Westminster student. You will have the opportunity to connect with campus partners and other transfer students.
Spring Orientation: Jan 2016
The Spring Orientation program is a 1 day program for first year and transfer students. This program provides a quick nuts and bolts approach as your begin the Spring Semester. You will have access to and opportunities to chat with staff and faculty regarding your engagement on campus.
