Kim Adamson received her BS in social science from Westminster College in 1979. Entering the US Marine Corps Reserve in 1974, Kim continues to serve and is a chief warrant officer-5. She deployed to Iraq as a civil affairs officer and anti-terrorism force protection officer with the 4th civil affairs group in 2004-2005. She deployed for her second Iraq tour in August 2009 as a platoon commander with 4th MLG, H&SBn, personnel retrieval & processing company. In addition to her duties as a US Marine Corps, she currently serves as a Utah senior justice court judge. Her Westminster education provided her a foundation for success. Leadership, teamwork, and global consciousness are key components to her role with the Marine Corps. Critical thinking and communication skill are crucial to work in the court system. The skills she learned as a student have made it possible for her to be a dynamic contributor locally, nationally, and globally.
