Allison Smith 

 Allison Nicole Smith (Allison Dayne) is a senior pursuing a BFA in Theatre Performance.  From her firstmoment on campus, Allison has been fully involved in all this college has to offer.  She is in the Scholars program, Theatre Society, and a Westminster Tour Guide. Each semester she has been recognized for her academic achievements  by placement on the Dean's List.   In 2013, she was selected to receive a Scholars Summer Research Grant and used this opportunity to write the play "Mantodea".  In 2014, she was again selected to receive a Summer Research Grant and wrote a professional research paper on Drama Theory.  To further research her drama theory, she was selected to be part of an intensive Comedy Studies Program at Second City Improv in Chicago. Allison created Leading Ladies Productions which donates all proceeds from her theatrical production to a worthy organization.  In January, 2014 she produced Agnes of God and donated all monies to the SLC Rape Recovery Center.  This year she plans to produce two productions which will benefit the Suicide Prevention Hotline and the Odyssey House.  After graduating from Westminster, Allison plans to pursue a MFA in Theatre Performance or Directing.
