Description:

Assist the Event Services Department in the set-up, tear-down, technical and
logistical support of campus events. Candidate should possess a working knowledge of standard
software applications commonly used in public presentations as well as an understanding of current
projection equipment. Candidate will also work with audio equipment such as microphones,
speakers, sound mixers and theatrical lighting boards. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in order to
assist with large campus set-ups.
A successful candidate will be able to work productively, often with minimal
supervision, presenting a professional appearance and possessing the ability to assist various
individuals or groups in the support of a wide variety of campus events. Evening and weekend hours
are often required. Whereas A/V experience is preferred, training is available for candidates
possessing interest and aptitude.
