Operating Hours

Fall 2016

  • Mondays 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesdays 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
  • Fridays 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
  • Sundays closed

The simulation and testing center may be closed during these posted days and times, depending on college holidays and test schedules. Call ahead to schedule a testing appointment to ensure the testing center will be staffed when you plan to take your exam. Note: There will be some days when the Testing Center is closed even during these posted hours. Please make sure to call and schedule all tests to ensure the center will be staffed.

The aviation simulation and testing center is located in the lower level of the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business. We administer LaserGrade FAA written exams, CLEP tests, FLATS tests, ACT Residual Exams, and college make-up exams.

Flight Training Devices

Flight training devices in the Aviation Simulation & Testing Center include a Redbird, a newly-upgraded Frasca 142, with wraparound visuals, a glass-cockpit jet trainer, and an MFD (Modular Flight Deck). At the Flight Operations Center, we have several Aviation Training Devices (ATDs). These resources are also available to the public on a limited basis. (Call 801.832.2910 to inquire about availability).

Interview Prep

If you have been called in for an interview with a regional airline, we can help prepare you for the simulation portion of the interview. Call for billing rates and resource availability.
