Time and Place:
A jazz brunch will be held on campus from 10:00 AM until Noon (preceding commencement) for graduates and their guests, faculty, and staff. Four brunch tickets are available to each graduate for free and any subsequent tickets will be $10.00 each. Brunch tickets may be picked up from the Office of Alumni Relations.
Seating at the Maverik Center, including wheelchair seating, is on a first come first serve. For those with physical limitations including wheelchairs, please enter at the southwest ground-level door marked "Will Call/VIP/Elevator" and seating will be available in section 113. For hearing impaired guests, seats will also be located in the front rows of section 113. The ceremony starts at 1:45 p.m. and lasts around 2 ½ hours.
All guests enter through the South doors at the top of the stairs. If guests need to use an elevator, they should enter through the Southwest ground-level floor marked Will Call/VIP/Elevator.
There is plenty of parking at the Maverik Center but to ensure a timely arrival, please make sure you arrive by 1:15. There is no cost for parking at the Maverik Center.
Family members will not be allowed in front of the stage to take photos during the ceremony since this impedes the view for other guests. Island Photo will photograph all graduates as they receive their diplomas. A free proof will be viewable online within 2-3 days of Commencement. Students will recieve an email with the link to view thier photos. There is no obligation to purchase photos. To view them, please visit islandphoto.com and click on graduation ceremony.
