Student working in Meldrum Website
2014-2015 New Transfer Students

Congratulations on making your decision to attend Westminster College!  I am thrilled that you will join our community of learners.

Westminster is committed to a student-centered mission that emphasizes each student’s academic success and personal welfare. Academic advising is a key component in this student-centered approach.

In partnership with you, START Center academic advisors will:

  •   Share knowledge about Westminster and curriculum
  •   Link you to college and community resources
  •   Provide accessible advising

1. Your first step is to watch the Pre-Advising Appointment Tutorial.

2. Once you have watched the video, complete and submit your Assessment.

3. Once your Assessment is submitted, the START Center will contact you to schedule your appointment. All new students meet individually with an advisor to register for classes. We offer a variety of appointment methods including in-person on campus (preferred for local students), telephone, Skype, or Instant Messenger. Appointments begin April 7, 2014.

Although you shouldn’t encounter any problems with this process, should you need assistance, please contact me directly. You can reach me at 801-832-2279 or fpeacock@westminstercollege.edu

Congratulations again and welcome to Westminster!
