Griffins Club booster group relaunched to support Westminster’s student athletes

Hey Griffins, get ready for an exciting new fan experience! Westminster College is
pleased to announce the relaunch of the Griffins Club, the official booster club of
Westminster Athletics for the
2022–23 season.
As “the team behind the teams,” the Griffins Club brings together individuals committed to providing financial support to our student-athletes in their academic and athletic pursuits. In addition to helping generate support for the general athletic fund to enhance and sustain our top-quality NCAA Division II teams, Griffins Club memberships also include great benefits for our boosters. Last year, we began hosting pre-game tailgate events on campus to give fans a place to interact and get excited about Griffin Athletics.
These events will now be the main benefit for Griffins Club members. In addition to admission to all tailgate events for every team, a $100 Griffins Club membership includes additional benefits like tickets to home games, exclusive swag, free parking at games and tailgates, and early-bird registration for the Westminster Golf Tournament. Also, $50 of your membership is a tax-deductible donation that goes directly to the general athletic fund.
“Annual donations are key in providing our student-athletes with a positive educational and athletics experience,” says Shay Wyatt, director of Westminster Athletics. “The Griffins Club is open to all, and we hope our fans will join us.”
Through the strength of our reimagined booster club, we hope to increase fan participation
and attendance, as well as create a great environment where alums, parents, students,
friends, and community members can come and engage with our amazing student-athletes
and cheer them on as they compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and NCAA
Division II.
