in determining how to handle, respond to, and/or resolve a bias occurrence. The goal of the bias report and response process is to provide an educational experience for all of those
involved and to promote a healthy campus climate.

Although the bias education and response team can assist you in determining whether a violation of law or
college policy may have occurred, they cannot investigate, initiate disciplinary action, or impose sanctions that
are policy violations.
