Westminster is dedicated to promoting women and diversity in science. The fall Science Saturday event is a unique day camp opportunity for girls in 7th or 8th grade to enjoy hands-on math and science labs and workshops. Activities support interest in the sciences and show students the variety of careers available in science fields. Campers will also enjoy an hour at the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center, participating in yoga, swimming, or rock climbing, and the evening will close with a screening of “Hidden Figures.” Lunch and dinner are provided.
Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 45 campers.
We will offer a Science Saturday event on Saturday, February 25, open to all high school students.
