”Clybourne Park” by Bruce Norris
Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday | 7:30 PM–9:00 PM | 11/9/2017–11/18/2017
Directed by Jared Larkin, “Clybourne Park” explodes in two outrageous acts set 50 years apart. Act One takes place in 1959, as white community leaders anxiously try to stop the sale of a home to a black family. Act Two is set in the same house in the present day, as the now predominantly African-American neighborhood battles to hold its ground in the face of gentrification.
$10 general admission. Students, faculty and staff free.
The event will be held in the Courage Theatre in the Jewett Center for the Performing Arts.
