Support the Performing Arts Expansion

Your donation will transform the experience of performing and fine arts students with enhanced classroom, rehearsal, and performance spaces.

Florence J. Gillmor Hall

Westminster College’s performing and visual arts programs are among the finest in the region, with outstanding faculty, programming, and scholarship support. We are now expanding our performing arts complex with the help of the Florence J. Gillmor Foundation and other generous donors to better serve our gifted art students. The new expansion will be named Florence J. Gillmor Hall in honor of a beloved Westminster graduate who studied music and whose estate generously supports scholarships and performing arts programs and facilities at the college.

Double Your Impact

The Florence J. Gillmor Foundation has given us a new matching challenge. On top of the $5 million the foundation has already committed toward building Gillmor Hall, they will match every gift given to the project between May 1 and December 31, 2019, up to $2 million. Your gift to Westminster’s performing arts expansion will have double the impact.

Plans and Progress

Thanks to incredibly generous support from alumni, friends, and other donors, we have raised more than $13 million of the $14.5 million fundraising goal, which includes construction, endowment, furnishing, and equipment. We are looking for partners to help us complete this critical 26,000-square-foot expansion project to enhance the educational opportunities for our performing arts students.

We invite you to join this project to create enhanced classroom, rehearsal, and performance spaces. Your donation will transform the experience of performing and fine arts majors and minors, as well as many non-majors who enhance their liberal arts education by participating in arts programs.
