2. Apply for an I-20
Westminster College is authorized
under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students. Upon acceptance and
payment of the deposit, non-immigrant students submit
financial guarantee documents and request the initial or transfer SEVIS

I-20 is a three-page document used by students to obtain an F-1 visa.
Students who are entering the United States with an I-20 for initial
attendance will need to complete the following steps:
- Payment of the I-901 SEVIS fee. The
United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) uses SEVIS fee
payments to fund and maintain the Student Exchange Visitor Information
System (SEVIS), the immigration database used to process documents for
international students and exchange visitors during their stay in the

3. Register for Housing
Campus housing is in high demand. Secure your spot in one of our residence halls early. Westminster's first-year/sophomore housing is designed to provide you with a safe and enjoyable college experience.
Spring Start: Housing registration is available beginning on Oct. 1. If you register prior to Dec. 1, you will receive your housing assignments by Dec. 15.
Fall Start: Housing registration is available beginning Jan. 1, 2020, with a priority deadline of May 15, 2020. Fall housing assignments go out during the first week of July.

4. Register for Classes
Registration begins in Apr. for fall semester and Nov. for spring semester.
Students living in Utah and starting classes in fall are invited to attend Griffin GearUp between Apr. and June. You must register for Griffin GearUp in advance.
Students who are unable to attend a Griffin GearUp must contact Frances Peacock at email@example.com to schedule a virtual academic advising appointment and register for classes.

5. Fly in on Arrival Day

6. Attend International Student Orientation
Fall Start: Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
7. Attend New Student Orientation
Spring Start: Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Fall Start: Saturday, Aug. 15–Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020

8. Attend Classes
