Spiral Jetty: A Barometer for the Great Salt Lake, or a Work of Art Unto Itself?

KSL recounts land art Spiral Jetty's significance as part of the drying Great Salt Lake, featuring Great Salt Lake Institute director and Westminster professor Bonnie Baxter, GSLI coordinator Jaimi Butler and former Westminster art history professor Hikmet Sidney Loe.

"Artwork created in the environment should echo something about that environment," Baxter said. "Even though it's out of the water and much more static now, [the Spiral Jetty] continues to evolve."
