U.S. News Ranks Westminster a Best College for Nursing, Veterans, and Undergraduate Teaching

Westminster is recognized for the 26th year in a row in U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges guide. The college ranked in six prestigious categories, including best for Undergraduate Teaching and the first-ever undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) ranking by U.S. News. Westminster is proud to be ranked for excellence in the following western region categories:

Westminster’s BSN program layers a rich foundation of liberal arts with faculty mentoring in a student-focused learning environment. The program is well known for preparing professional nurses who are competent, caring, ethical, critical thinkers, scholarly, and effective communicators.

Westminster ranked 15 for Best Undergraduate Teaching—recognizing the college’s commitment and focus on students. The college ranked number 19 as a Best Value School in the West, giving students one of the biggest “bang for their bucks” in the region. The college is number 18 for Best Regional University in the West and number 9 for Best College for Veterans.

Westminster is a top performer on social mobility for successfully advancing economically disadvantaged students. The college enrolls and graduates large proportions of students who qualify for Pell Grants (adjusted gross family incomes are under $50,000).
