Westminster Among America’s Top 14 Percent of Colleges, a Top Green College, and Best in the West
August 31, 2021
Westminster is one of the best colleges in the US, a best college in the West, and a top green college in the Princeton Review’s annual guide. Westminster is among the top 14 percent of America’s four-year colleges included in the 2022 edition of the Princeton Review’s The Best 387 Colleges.
Inclusion is based on data collected from colleges and surveys of current students. Westminster students praised “a very rigorous academic load” and “a community that doesn’t center around academic competition, but academic empowerment.”
Students at Westminster are driven by learning, telling the Princeton Review “resources are abundant at the college, and students have access to hands-on research opportunities, internships, study abroad programs, and conferences.”
Frequently mentioned majors include “a great nursing program,” biology, and theatre. Student surveys also noted that Griffins love to ski and snowboard but most are more concerned with their academics. Good food, coffee, and a “very cool city” counted as reasons students love Westminster. View Westminster’s profile in the Princeton Review’s Best 387 Colleges for 2022.
