Westminster Recognized for News Writing, Ad Design & Strategic Campaign Development

Feb. 27, 2015 SALT LAKE CITY - Westminster College's Office of Marketing and Communications received multiple awards for its strategic marketing campaign of the college's 23 Sochi Olympians along with news and periodical writing and magazine cover design. The college was also recognized for its new recruiting campaign "Change Over Time." The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) has honored Westminster's Office of Marketing and Communications in the CASE District VII 2015 Awards of Excellence program. Westminster's marketing and communications team received the following awards:   Silver - Advertising/Individual Ads "Purple, Gold, Silver, and Bronze" Bronze - Strategic Communications/Public, Media, and Community Relations Project "Westminster's 23 Olympians - Dedicated Students & Dedicated Athletes" Bronze - News Writing Bronze - Periodical Staff Writing Bronze - Design/PDF/Covers "Westminster College Review Cover Spring 2014"   CASE District VII Awards of Excellence received more than 470 entries and represents higher education institutions in the western region of the United States (Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, and Utah). The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, over 2,000 entries were received from over one-thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries. Westminster's Admissions Office developed the campaign with RHB, a specialized marketing agency.
