Tuition, room and board, and other special fees are due in full on the first day of the given semester. Students unable to make the full payment must make other arrangements with Student Account Services by the first day of each semester. If a student must drop a class after the last day to add and drop classes, they will be issued a refund based on the following dates of drop. Please keep in mind that dropping classes can have an impact on financial aid as well as tuition charges.
Room and board will be prorated on an individual basis determined by the date of check out of the dorms and usage of the meal plan.
Tuition charges/refunds are determined as of the date drop/add forms or withdrawal forms are accepted by the Registrar's Office. There are some classes that do not follow the refund schedule for the term as they either do not meet for the entire term or meet for only a few sessions. Those refund schedules are listed below the current academic year.
Some classes may not follow the semester refund schedule, such as many graduate classes, internships, directed studies and classes that only meet a few times during the semester. Please see the session refund dates listed below the terms.
