About Lance Vaculin

I began flying in 1997. I continued flight training while I was finishing my Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport Science Physiology at the University of Utah. In 2001, I began flight instructing. When the time came for me to move onto a regional airline or corporate charter, I choose to stay in education. In May of 2006, I was hired as the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Westminster College. Having been around various flight schools, I quickly realized how lucky I was to be a part of a premier Collegiate Aviation program. In 2009 I became the Director of Flight Operations until 2015 when I moved to the Director of Flight Education/Chief Pilot.  In June of 2008, 2010 as well as in 2012  the National Association of Flight Instructors accredited me as a Master CFI.  Additionally I am a contract pilot on CJ and Pilatus aircraft and an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.
