About

Before joining Westminster in 2019 AJ had been working in the field of outdoor education in the mountain west for the better part of a decade. He has helped coordinate collegiate outdoor programs at Colorado State University-Pueblo, Fort Lewis College, and the University of Utah. During that tenure AJ has also worked as an Outward Bound instructor, climbing wall manager, professional ski patroller, avalanche educator, river guide, and climbing instructor. He has had the privilege of working and traveling in amazing places like Alaska, Nepal, and Ecuador. He spends summers as a staff trainer, and mountaineering, climbing, and backpacking instructor for the Colorado Outward Bound School.
