About

Michelle Alba is a proud graduate of Westminster College. Following a bachelor of arts in art history from the University of Utah, the story of her father's experience learning English as an immigrant inspired Michelle to transition into education. Since earning a master of arts in teaching and a master of education from Westminster, Michelle has spent over 10 years teaching grades K-5, specializing in ESL instruction at a Title One school on the west side of Salt Lake City. Michelle teaches courses in the TESOL program in Westminster's School of Education.
