Sarah Arnesen started playing the cello at age 12 after playing the piano for 7 years. In her teenage years she played with local youth orchestras including Lyceum Philharmonic, Timpanogos Chamber Orchestra, Utah Youth Symphony and Utah All State Orchestra. Sarah has a Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Masters Degree in Cello Performance from the University of Utah. In the last ten years she has been able to play all over the United States, Canada and Europe including performances in Carnegie Hall in New York, Ravinia Chicago, and Wolftrap, Virginia. Sarah currently lives in Salt Lake City and teaches orchestra and cello lessons. She is also a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square and plays in the Canyon Quartet. She has studied with Karin Hendricks, Dr. Robert Tueller, Elliott Cheney and Pegsoon Whang.
