About
Peter Ingle has almost 30 years of experience in teaching. Peter began teaching at Westminster College in 1999. During his tenure at Westminster College, Peter helped develop the Special Education program in the School of Education, had terms as both the Chair of the Faculty and Chair of the Faculty Senate, served as the Director of the Learning Coalition, helped create Westminster Colleges' Alternative Learning models, supported the use of eportfolios for learning, assisted in the development of the Westminster College/Promise South Salt Lake partnership, served as the interim Dean of the School of Education and created the Thailand mayterm experience. Prior to Westminster College, he served as a district program director for the Granite School district SMART program for at-risk youth. He was the first at-risk teacher at Brighton High School. Peter was also an instructional assistant in several special education settings including self-contained classrooms for students with behavioral disorders. He also led 30 day wilderness trips for at-risk youth in Pennsylvania. Peter received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and a Masters of Science and Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Utah.
