About
Lance Newman is the author of Our Common Dwelling: Henry Thoreau, Transcendentalism, and the Class Politics of Nature and the editor of The Grand Canyon Reader, as well as several textbooks and collections of scholarly essays. His scholarly articles have appeared in American Literature, New England Quarterly, ISLE, Reconstruction, Electronic Book Review, and other journals. His poems have appeared in many print and web magazines, as well as in two free online chapbooks, Come Kanab (Dusi-e/chaps Kollectiv, 2007) and 3by3by3 (Beard of Bees, 2010).
