About
As a Westminster University alum, Kevin Randall was thrilled to accept the role of
Director of Strategic Communications in October of 2022 after earning his master's
degree in strategic communications in May of the same year.
Kevin’s prior experience started at Weber State University (2003-2006) where he earned
a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in electronic media and journalism.
From there he went on to work in broadcast journalism for nearly eight years at multiple
TV stations including KNDU-TV in Kennewick, Washington, KHQ in Spokane, Washington,
and FOX13 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In the decade following his time in the news biz, Kevin has worked in numerous roles
including project management, language and localization, content creation, writing,
video production, internal communications, political campaigns, social media, and
public relations.
“I’ve spent nearly 20 years trying to find my niche, but I’ve discovered that the
only way to succeed in an ever-evolving industry is to evolve with it and not be afraid
to explore as many methods of communication as possible in order to reach your target
audience effectively,” said Randall.
As a public relations consultant, Kevin Randall won a Golden Spike Award from the
PRSA Utah chapter for his work supporting the Utah Pride Center during the 2021 Utah
Pride Festival. He went on to serve as a Board Member for the PRSA Utah Chapter in
2022.
Kevin is a true news junkie. His favorite time of day starts around 5 a.m. consuming
coffee and current events. He and his husband, Darin Mano, are proud residents of
Salt Lake City and are raising four amazing children and their dog, Bucky. They love
to travel, drink great wine, spend time with their kids and party with friends.
