Tiana has worked with the Westminster Outdoor Program since 2011 and has over 20 years of experience working in outdoor education. A true generalist, Tiana enjoys skiing, paddling, climbing, biking, and human-powered, self-supported adventures to remote and wild places. She earned her B.S. in Geology from Hamilton College and M.S. from the University of Utah in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with an emphasis in experiential education. Tiana has been an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), a director of outdoor programs for other colleges and secondary schools, and is currently an instructor for the Wilderness Medicine Training Center. Her personal and professional adventures have taken her to the deserts, mountains, and rivers of the US from Alaska to Maine and abroad to the Yukon, Mexico, China, Nepal, India, Vietnam, Costa Rica, and Thailand. Tiana is passionate about the work that she does with the Outdoor Program, but working closely with and learning from students each day is the best part of the job!
