Griffin GearUp

Griffin GearUp is an on- and off-campus, two-day experience for admitted first-year students that includes meeting with an academic advisor, registering for classes, understanding the financial aspects of a Westminster education, exploring leadership development, and getting to know your peers.

Each session starts with an information day on campus for students and their guest. Then we head up to a cabin in the Wasatch Mountains for the overnight portion of the trip where students will get to socialize and share their excitement about college.

As part of your registration with Griffin GearUp, you are able to bring one additional guest to the program. Lodging for the student is provided as part of the Griffin GearUp program, however, lodging for the guest is not provided.

Keep an eye out for an email with more information in the week leading up to your Griffin GearUp weekend. For general questions or concerns, contact the Dean of Students Office at 801.832.2230.
