Griffin GearUp

Griffin GearUp is a program designed for admitted first-year students that includes meeting with an academic advisor, registering for classes, understanding the financial aspect of education at Westminster College, exploring leadership development, and meeting some of your peers.

You can choose from two one-day programs and six combined programs. One-day programs don’t offer the overnight program and you'll conclude your Griffin GearUp experience within the day of the program. Combined programs offer a one-day experience and a two-day (overnight) experience. The two-day experience is highly recommended and spots will be limited due to off-campus lodging accommodations. Each session begins with on-campus informational sessions for students and their guest.

Keep an eye out for an email with more information in the weeks leading up to your Griffin GearUp program. For general questions or concerns, contact the Dean of Students Office at 801.832.2230.
