Canyons, creeks, and mountains, oh my! This trip gives you almost everything Utah has to offer. Participants will be "car camping" and hiking throughout some of the most beautiful areas of southern Utah. This includes areas like Capitol Reef National Park, and the Hell's Backbone area. Capitol Reef National Park is filled with geological, cultural, and picturesque views and known for its beautiful tree-lined creeks and narrow slickrock canyons. The Hells Backbone area has everything from deserts to mountains and provides views down into the near by canyons, cut by the Escalante river, an oasis in the desert. This area allows visitors to hike through areas of pre-historic rock art, sandstone cliffs, and waterfalls such as Calf Creek falls. Cost: $390 - includes transportation, equipment, food, and instruction.
