Westminster's Communication Program
Westminster's Communication Program links practical skills with theoretical principles, providing an exciting adventure in humanistic inquiry. The faculty bring a unique combination of scholarly research and up-to-date professional expertise to the classroom. Our well-equipped computer and graphics labs provide the same tools used by most real-world organizations.
Working with electronic and traditional media, students acquire skills needed for careers in corporate and government communication, nonprofit organizations, public affairs, advertising, public relations, technical and freelance writing, web site design and management, graphic design, and journalism, as well as for graduate studies. By selecting courses across the entire communication curriculum, students can develop a program that has breadth, while students who are interested in a more focused major may wish to choose classes from a specific concentration.
