Office for Global Peace and Spirituality
The Office for Global Peace and Spirituality is a space where Westminster students, faculty, and staff can come together to advocate for a more peaceful world. The office promotes the spiritual growth of our community by empowering individuals and engaging in projects that promote prosperity and positive change. Students are welcome to drop by for weekly open-space conversations to connect with people from all backgrounds and beliefs.
- Create compassionate, global-minded peacemakers who are changing the world.
- Encourage respect for diverse people and their perspectives.
- Cultivate a healthy and equitable campus community.
Finding Our Way in the World
Our mission is to serve as a hub where people can come together and share diverse perspectives. We hope to advance our community’s understanding of the world by creating a safe space where people can actively listen to each other.
The Office for Global Peace and Spirituality was previously known as the Spiritual Life Office. During the 2017–18 academic year, a student initiative began to expand this inclusive campus resource. The office’s mission, which had supported and connected students with faith communities, expanded to include the globally minded discourse we see today.
