“My experience with the accounting program at Westminster was that the relatively smaller class sizes provided me the opportunity to interact more with the tremendous professors, and allowed them to get to know me as well as my needs and capabilities. It also created an atmosphere where my professors could teach and challenge me personally, and help move me in the right direction. These relationships proved invaluable to me as I progressed through school and started making connections in the business community, and even today some of those relationships continue.”
If you wish to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination in Utah or many other states, you will need to complete additional graduate studies. By completing Westminster’s Accounting program, you will have the educational background and prerequisites necessary to be successful in Westminster's Master of Accountancy or Master of Business Administration (with an accounting certificate) programs.
