Summary: Provides support for the School of Education Main Office by assisting staff, faculty and students. Responsible for greeting visitors, copying, filing, campus errands, answering phones and other general clerical tasks as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Opens work orders from Information Services or Maintenance when needed. • Responsible for keeping printer and copier toner/supplies stocked when needed. • Assists with general office tasks: answering phones, making copies, restocking office supplies, filing, and running errands on campus. • Provides general information to visitors and callers. • Assists faculty with special projects as needed. • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE: • Must possess a positive service attitude. • Customer service experience preferred. • Ability to communicate and relate well to a variety of people. • Must be self-motivated and responsible for performing daily tasks with minimal supervision. • Ability to hold sensitive information in confidence. • Knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) • Ability to operate standard office equipment including, computers, copiers, printers, telephone. • Must be able to work Tuesday 2pm to 7pm; Wednesday 2pm to 7pm; Thursday 8am to 1pm; Friday 2pm to 5 pm - total 18hrs/week for Spring semester 2014.
