Aviation and Other Scholarships
In addition to general college scholarships that all Westminster students qualify for, there are also several aviation-specific scholarships offered.

Aviation Scholarships Available Exclusively to Westminster Students
The following scholarships are awarded to continuing aviation students. Fill out the Continuing Student Scholarship application between December and February each year to be considered.
- George Roper Aviation Scholarship ($2000)
- Knight Family Scholarship for Aviation Management majors ($1000)
- Louis Alan Merz Scholarship ($2000)
- Nibs Meldrum Aviation Scholarship ($3000)
Award amounts might vary from year-to-year.
External Aviation Scholarships
Several outside scholarships are also available that have various application due dates, award amounts, and application requirements. A partial listing includes:
- American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) ($3,000–$5,000 scholarship for women in university programs)
- Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) ($2,500–12,000)
- Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship
- Daedalians Scholarship (for students who have demonstrated the desire to become a commissioned military aviator)
- GAMA scholarships (including one for NIFA members)
- Galactic Unite Flying Tigresses ($2200) (for women pursuing aviation/aerospace careers)
- I Hart Flying Scholarships (various amounts)
- The Karen Johnson Solo Scholarship ($3,000 for women)
- National Business Aviation Association ($1,000–5,000)
- National Gay Pilots Association ($3,000)
- The Ninety-Nines (various amounts for women pilots)
- Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals
- Regional Airline Association Scholarships ($4,000)
- Summit Shah Scholarship ($1,000)
- Utah Business Aviation Association (awarded to Westminster, SLCC, USU, and UVU students)
- University Aviation Association Scholarships ($500–2,000)
- UAA Administered or Affiliated Organizations Scholarships (various amounts)
