You can request that a physical network port be activated in your room by submitting a Help Desk request. If you want to attach a gaming or streaming device to the wireless network, fill out a request for RecNet including your device type and device's MAC address through the Help Desk portal.

To maintain the integrity of the university computing and network resources, connections to the campus network are made only under the direction of Information Services. Users may attach appropriate equipment such as personal computers, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and other end-user devices. Users may not attach network-related hardware such as routers, switches, hubs, wireless access points, etc., or share their internet connection.
