About the Westminster Review

The Westminster Review is Westminster College's bi-annual alumni magazine. The publication is distributed to over 17,000 alumni and community members. Each issue aims to keep alumni updated on campus current events, and highlights the accomplishments of current students, professors, and Westminster alum. Meet Our Staff

Chief Marketing Officer

Sheila Rappazzo Yorkin

Sheila Rappazzo Yorkin hails from the East Coast, having grown up in Poughkeepsie, New York, and Boca Raton, Florida. Her studies in political science at the University of Richmond prepared her for an intended career in Washington, DC, as a lobbyist and policy maker. But a post-college stint in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, turned her into a mountain-loving westerner. After moving to Utah, Sheila spent the first part of her career with Salt Lake City Corporation in communication and policy roles. She was also the managing director of the Gallivan Utah Center during the 2002 Olympics. Sheila eventually ended up at Westminster College, where she loves impersonating Anna Wintour with her endless stylish outfits and diva attitude—just ask her assistant. Though she is stylish, she’s much less diva and more an enthusiastic and caring leader. Sheila is passionate about the inclusivity of women in education, business, and the community and has served on several boards, including: Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum, Utah River’s Council, KRCL Advisory Committee, and Salt Lake Acting Company. Sheila is also a member of the Utah Women’s Forum. She loves working on the Review and sharing everything Westminster has to offer. When she’s not working, Sheila enjoys vacations with her family in Maine and upstate New York during the summer and skiing, biking, and hiking with her husband, Andy, and three children.

 Executive Managing Editor

Autumn Thatcher (MSC ’15)

Autumn Thatcher is a writer and editor based in Salt Lake City with extensive experience covering the arts and entertainment. She is the editorial director in the Office of Marketing and Communication at Westminster College, where she provides editorial and strategic direction for communication pieces produced by the college and serves as the managing editor for the school’s alumni magazine, the Westminster Review. In the past, Autumn worked as the music editor for In This Week magazine and has contributed to such publications as the Salt Lake Tribune and Salt Lake Magazine. She recently represented Utah’s community radio station, 90.9 FM KRCL, at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, where she reported on music in film as well as on social justice issues discussed in premiere documentaries. Autumn earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature with a minor in art history from the University of Utah and a master’s of strategic communication from Westminster College. She is an aspiring novelist who, in between writing, provides editorial guidance for authors looking to self-publish their books. Autumn hopes to one day become an equestrian, live in France, and interview Angelina Jolie.
