Westminster Community Exceeds Giving Day Goals

Westminster Staff and Students Celebrating Giving Day

Mar 24, 2017

SALT LAKE CITY—Westminster College’s community truly went “all in,” the theme for our third annual giving day on Mar. 22. Individual donations reached 445 – the goal was 400. The college raised $45,384 to support students and outstanding academic programs at Westminster.

Westminster president, Stephen Morgan, challenged everyone to give what they could and share on social media why they are “all in” for Westminster during the 24-hour giving campaign. All In headquarters filled the Bassis Center for Student Learning with volunteers, donors, a prize wheel, food and cheering. There was plenty to celebrate.

  • $45,384 total raised
  • 445 donors– up 26% from last year
  • Over 130 alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff volunteered

“We were thrilled to see the breadth of support for our All In Giving Day, and the enthusiasm our alumni and donors have for supporting the college. Thank you to all that gave and volunteered, your gifts will truly contribute to the success of our students.” said Staci Carson, vice president of Institutional Advancement at Westminster.
