Girls Sports & Rec Camp

June 18th – 21st
Ages 6 – 14
8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Afternoon session from 12–5:00 p.m. for those families who need/want a full day of camp. The afternoon session will not be programmed as much as the morning session and will include movie time, arts and crafts, as well as some additional pool time, rock climbing, yoga, etc. Lunch is NOT included in the full day camp so campers staying the full day MUST bring their lunch.

Girls Sports & Rec Camp Only: $155 ($175 after May 11th)
Girls Sports & Rec Camp with Afternoon Camp Session: $300 ($320 after May 11th)

Girls attending the Sports & Recreation camp will have the opportunity to participate in a multitude of sports and recreational activities. The goal of the camp is to introduce girls to as many sports and recreational opportunities as possible. Girls will have an opportunity to try new sports and recreational activities and learn new skills or practice skills in sports that they may be familiar with.

Possible sports and recreational activities that potentially will be offered are volleyball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, golf, rock climbing, aquatic activities, fitness fun, hip hop, yoga, pickle ball, track & field, and martial arts.

Girls Half Day Basketball Camp and Half Day Sports & Recreation Camp

June 25th – 28th

Half Day Basketball Camp, 9 am – 12:/12:30 pm
Half Day Sports & Rec Camp, 1:00 – 5:00 pm

Girls who sign up for this camp will participate in basketball camp from 9 am – 12:00 pm and then will break for lunch as a group.  Lunch is NOT included in the full day camp so campers MUST bring their lunch.  After lunch girls will participate in other sports and recreation activities along with reading time, crafts, and movie time.  Possible sports and recreational activities that potentially will be offered are volleyball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, golf, rock climbing, aquatic activities, fitness fun, hip hop, yoga, pickle ball, track & field, and martial arts.  We will also incorporate some reading time after lunch along with some craft time

The Griffin Post Game Activities Camp follows the Griffin “Juniors” Camp.  This camp is for families that need/want a full day camp.  The Griffin Post Game Activities Camp is run by the Fitness, Wellness, and Recreation Department and Athletic staff.  Activities could include Rock Climbing, Table Tennis, Sand Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer, Kayaking (in the pool), Inner Tube Water Polo/Free Time in Pool, Yoga, and Movie/Snack time.  Your child will come home tired but will have lots of fun.
