The majority of the library’s collection is available electronically and can be accessed from anywhere on or off campus. You can search for physical books, electronic books, articles, and more in GriffinSearch or you can search a specific database directly. When accessing databases and GriffinSearch from off campus, you will have to log in using your Westminster username and password. The library will provide access to its book, DVD, AV equipment, and course reserves collections by appointment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an appointment.
The library currently still provides Interlibrary Loan services for print materials; however, the library may not be able to borrow everything due to lending library closures. Delivery time may vary due to circumstances at lending libraries. Once your request is made, the Interlibrary Loan office will work with you to set up an appointment to pick up your item.
Interlibrary Loan services for electronic materials will continue as staffing permits, however, delivery speed may be affected by staffing at Giovale Library and lending libraries across the nation.
As long as staffing permits, the library will continue to circulate physical reserve items. Scans of chapters from books on reserve can be requested remotely by filling out the request form. To make arrangement to pick up a reserve item, please email email@example.com.
The library is working with Information Services to loan laptops to students that are without a mobile device. Pick up will be by appointment only at Giovale Library. If you need a laptop, you can submit a Help Desk Request.
