About

Christine Seifert has a PhD in English with specializations in rhetoric and professional writing. In addition to teaching graduate and undergraduate classes, she does corporate training and consulting on persuasion, change management, and project management. Christine is the author of three books: The Predicteds, a novel (2011); Virginity in Young Adult Literature after Twilight, an analysis of sex and virginity in YA literature published in the last 5 years (2015); and Whoppers: History's Most Outrageous Lies and Liars (2015). Her next book is The Factory Girls (2017), a narrative account of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. Christine contributes to magazines and journals on a range of topics including pop culture and marketing, coaching and training, and persuasion. Her latest article about coaching appears in The International Journal of Self-Directed Learning (Summer 2016).
