Advanced Scuba Diving is designed to introduce students to advanced SCUBA techniques which will allow students to both explore more difficult terrain and to learn advanced safety procedures. Through home study, class sessions and pool sessions, students will learn about five advanced areas of diving. Successful completion of the five learning modules and training dives will certify the student as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver which is a prestigious certification recognized internationally. Completion of this advanced training will allow a student if they choose to move forward in their dive training to learn rescue diving techniques. Course fee includes classroom materials, gear rental, open water instruction, Homestead Crater entry fees, and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Scuba Certification.
Class Orientation: Monday, January 23, 6:30-7:30 pm, Eccles HWAC Special Events Room (HWAC 206)
Location: First class will be held at Westminster College in the Eccles Health Wellness and Athletic Center Special Events Room. All subsequent classes will be held at Dive Utah (4679 South 2225 East).
