Emergency Grant Application for Expenses Related to COVID-19
Westminster received additional funding from the Department of Education through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021. This is the third round of Higher Education Emergency Funds (HEERF III). These funds are meant to assist students in need of financial assistance due to coronavirus in the form of emergency grants. Emergency grants may be used by students for any component of their cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food (including meal plan), housing (including rent or residence halls), health care (including mental health care), or child care. As directed by the Department of Education, Westminster will prioritize those students with exceptional financial need. All students who are or were enrolled at Westminster during the COVID-19 national emergency are eligible for emergency financial aid grants through HEERF III. Students may authorize Westminster to apply these funds directly toward a tuition balance by selecting the option to do so in the emergency grant application. Otherwise, funds will be provided to students in the form of a check. Please complete the application below to cover expenses through the Fall 2021 Semester.
